General Information

Located in Belek, Antalya, Gloria New Golf Course opened its doors in 2005, taking the success of Gloria Golf Club to the next level. Designed by the renowned French golf architect Michel Gayon—who also created the Old Course—the parkland-style course sits on a beautiful terrain studded with rolling stone pines and artificial lakes, all set against the dramatic backdrop of the Taurus Mountains.

Since its inception, the New Course has hosted high-profile professional events, including the European Senior Tour in 2007. Thanks to its generous layout, it has quickly established itself as a firm favorite for golfers of all abilities. Featuring a more open design compared to its older sibling, the New Course gives players the freedom to showcase their driving power while still demanding a highly disciplined technical game due to its clever hazards.

Key Features of the Course

1. Wider Fairways and Driving Confidence

  • The New Course features broader, more forgiving fairways than the Old Course. This generous layout instills confidence right from the tee box, allowing heavy hitters to prioritize distance while still offering a fair test.

2. Dramatic Water Hazards and the Island Green

  • Four large, central lakes come into play across the layout. The defining highlight of the entire course is the iconic 17th hole, which features a thrilling "Island Green" design that presents the ultimate risk-and-reward test before the final clubhouse stretch.

3. Strategic Bunker Placement

  • To balance out the wider fairways, the architect integrated 67 strategically placed bunkers into the landscape. Deep, protective bunkers surrounding the undulating greens mean approach shots must be executed with pin-point precision.

4. Part of a World-Class 45-Hole Resort

  • The New Course works in perfect synergy with the Old Course and the 9-hole Verde Course. This seamless access to a total of 45 holes within a single resort complex provides exceptional tournament and playing variety for golf groups and long-stay guests.
